Based near Frome, Somerset, in the heart of the historic Selwood forest, we design and construct beautiful timber buildings with an emphasis on sustainability, durability and integrity.

Our Story
When we (founders Jamie Thomas and Pieter Goovaerts) first began collaborating in 2021, we bonded over a shared sense of engagement and attention to detail.
We’d spent our careers churning out timber framing for the UK’s biggest timber-framed construction companies. We weren’t happy treating every job like the last; trying to apply a one-size-fits-all solution to the varied projects we were working on.
We felt that we could deliver better quality work, with closer attention to detail, if we were working for ourselves. We took the plunge in 2021 and haven’t looked back since!
Our work ranges from rustic barns, glazed extensions and outbuildings, to simple porches and fully built houses. We can construct verandas, free-standing garden structures, pergolas as well as integrated custom joinery.
Each project is crafted with skill and delivered with care in response to its unique requirements. Central to our approach is a deeply felt, personal connection to our work.
